Warehouse Storeperson (Nightshift)

We have opportunities available for experienced and reliable Store Persons to join the Night shift Loading team of our fast-paced and busy Foodservice team based in Mangere, Auckland.

The offer:

• Full-time permanent role 
• Immediate start
• Sunday-Friday, 11.00 pm to 7.30 am 
• Competitive pay rate including night shift allowance
• Location: Ihumatao Road, Mangere, Auckland

The role:

• Loading/ hand stacking goods into trucks in the assigned sequence
• You will be working in a temperature controlled environment, approx. 9 degrees. PPE will be provided. 
• Coordinating and ensuring that the orders are packed on time.
• Stacking and wrapping pallets, including empty kegs and crates.
• Working closely with our drivers to ensure service levels are met and maintained
• Maintaining a neat and tidy workplace at the end of your shift.
• Heavy lifting up to 25 kgs.
• Packaging and dispatching orders
• Filling and replenishment

The person:

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Some Pick Packing work experience will be beneficial.
• Be physically strong and fit; the job involves hand loading and hoist work.
• Experience in Warehouse or Logistics environment preferred
• Basic English and numerical literacy
• Scanning and Computer skills advantageous
• Be able to present a clean criminal records
• A self- starter who doesn't need constant supervision- you will own this role.
• Have reasonably good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• You will be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Be extremely reliable, a proven record of exceptional attendance in all previous work.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must have their own transport.
