Team Leader - Night shift
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to lead the Night Shift Operations at our Waikato branch.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining high standards of quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.
As a hands-on team leader, you'll be managing people, overseeing night shift operations, and ensuring critical tasks—such as picking and packing orders and ensuring trucks leave on time—are completed efficiently.
Role Highlights:

- Full-time Permanent Position
- Sunday to Friday (04:00 pm to 01:00 am)
- Location: Mainstreet Place, Te Rapa
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the night shift team in all operational aspects of the department.
- Supervise the team, assign tasks, provide guidance, monitor performance, and address any issues.
- Ensure all goods meet the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and picking products.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is managed efficiently.
- Strive for operational efficiencies in all business areas.

This role supports the overall customer order fulfillment of Service Foods and supply chain efficiency and contributes to a safe and productive environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
You will have -
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in a food wholesale or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures.
- Current Forklift License (preferred). Class 2 Driver’s License is a bonus (not essential).
- A passion for fresh produce and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
