About the Role

• Location: William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt
• Start Date: Immediate
• Employment Type: Casual
• Shift: 3:30/4:00 am start to 11:00/12:00 pm finish

This role offers variety—supporting our warehouse team with pick-packing fresh produce and providing cover for delivery drivers when needed. Perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of responsibilities and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods, ensuring secure and timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery records and provide excellent customer service
• Pick and pack fresh produce accurately
• Enter orders into the system
• Wrap pallets and assist with loading and dispatch
• Handle stock, restocking, and monitor expiry dates
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Perform heavy lifting (up to 20 kg) and general warehouse duties
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety protocols

 What We’re Looking For

We’re after a reliable, proactive team player who’s ready to hit the ground running. While experience in warehousing or food distribution is a plus, your attitude and work ethic matter most.

Essential:

• Class 2 Driver’s Licence (manual preferred)
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office and ability to learn SAGE)
• Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Forklift licence
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Previous warehouse or pick-packing experience
• Knowledge of food products and NZ work experience
• Flexibility to work overtime or additional shifts when required
