Service Foods is one of New Zealand’s largest foodservice distributors, and the supplier behind some of the country’s most recognisable food brands. Every day we help feed New Zealanders, from high-end restaurants to school canteens.
Our marketing team is small, senior, and good at what we do and we’re looking for a Senior Designer to be our in-house studio!
What you’ll own
- All creative output across Service Foods and our portfolio of home brands– you’ll be a generalist who’s happy working across everything from packaging and campaigns to digital assets, sales collateral, and presentations.
- Our in-house studio: the briefing system, job queue, and workflow that keeps creative moving at pace across a busy business.
- Design and production of Mise, our bi-annual in-house magazine - a piece of work that we’re really proud of.
- How we adopt AI and creative tools –from building templates to improving workflows, you’ll figure out what tools will help make us more efficient, and productive – whilst keeping you creative!
- UX support for our brand website and digital spaces, as needed.
What you’ll bring
- 7–10 years of generalist design experience, with a portfolio that shows range, quality, and commercial thinking.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Strong Canva is a real plus.
- Packaging design experience is highly regarded.
- The ability to run a full job queue independently - you don’t need to be chased and you don’t drop things.
- Genuine curiosity about where design and technology are heading, and a view on how to make the most of it.
- Magazine or editorial production experience is a plus.
