We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Lead to strengthen our operations and drive the effective implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of our ERP system.

About the Role

As our ERP Technical Lead, you will report directly to the IT Manager and take ownership of our ERP environment. Based at our National Support Office in Māngere, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact across the organisation.

You will provide expert guidance on ERP architecture, integration, configuration, and customisation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, optimise processes, and ensure the security and integrity of system data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and support of the ERP system.
  • Design, develop, and deliver ERP configurations, customisations, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues for users across the business.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Safeguard data integrity and system security.
  • Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and continuous optimisation.
  • Support IT infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
  • Work alongside other product leads to ensure smooth and cohesive operations.
  • Manage small to medium-sized IT projects as directed by the IT Manager.

About You

You’ll bring a relevant IT qualification and at least 5 years’ experience working in ERP implementation, support, and maintenance.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong proficiency in SQL database management, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in database server management, navigation, and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Sage 300 ERP (or similar systems) is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
