Customer Service & Warehouse Support


We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team in a combined Customer Service Representative and Warehouse Support role.

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Part‑Time

Roster:

  • Saturday: 01:00 am – 09:00 am (Warehouse support)
  • Sunday: 05:00 pm – 11:30 pm (Customer Services)
  • Additional casual picking hours available during the week to cover leave

Due to the part time, weekend hours, this role may suit a university student or someone seeking part‑time evening and early‑morning work. (Shift times may vary slightly to accommodate changes in customer orders and quantities).

About the Role

This position plays an important part in supporting warehouse and supply chain efficiency while delivering accurate order fulfilment and excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for a mix of customer-facing order processing and hands-on pick/pack warehouse duties, contributing to a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused operation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Processing

  • Prospect new clients through outbound calls and convert leads into loyal customers
  • Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products
  • Process customer orders via phone, email, voicemail, and online platforms
  • Enter and manage customer orders in Sage and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Communicate with procurement and customers regarding order fulfilment
  • Follow up on customer queries, complaints, requests, and outstanding credits
  • Notify customers of new products and offerings
  • Provide friendly, professional, and timely customer communication

Warehouse & Pick/Pack Support

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders for dispatch
  • Achieve high accuracy rates with minimal picking errors
  • Coordinate packing to ensure orders are dispatched on time and correctly
  • Wrap pallets and assist with loading and dispatch
  • Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at the end of each shift
  • Undertake manual handling and heavy lifting of cartons up to 20–25kg

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service, outbound telesales, or a similar role
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience (pick packing highly desirable)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM or Salesforce experience is advantageous
  • Basic computer, scanning, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Knowledge of the food service industry is an advantage

  • Reliable transport to and from the workplace
  • Forklift licence is advantageous (but not essential)
  • Tertiary qualification beneficial, but not required
